I have been studying at 1 on 1 Mandarin for just over a year now, and I have to say that I am really glad that I chose to study here. Firstly, the 1 on 1 style of teaching suits me really well, as I like to be able to ask lots of questions to get things really clear in my head before moving on (but equally, I'm glad not to have to wait for others if there is something that I grasp very quickly!)

Secondly, for longer term students, the school aims to chance teachers every semester or so, so I am now with my third teacher. This has also been beneficial for me. Each of the teachers has had a lot of teaching experience, but each has a very different teaching style. This both means that things don't get much chance to become boring, and also means that they have picked up and challenged me with different areas of language, making progress feel more rounded.

While language progress felt quite slow to start with, now, when Chinese friends compare me to someone who has studied at a University, they presume I have been studying for 2 years. Of course they might just be being polite, but it encourages me anyway!

As we know that learning Chinese as a second language is the best option. It has so many advantages like job advantage, get aware of culture, etc.And its very true that best time to start learning a foreign language is when we are young.I would like to add that Online lessons are the most efficient and effective way to learn Chinese as secondary language.
